HECTOR GUIMARD – PAUL PHILIPPON – TRIPLE PICTURE FRAME, 1881-1906

TRIPLE PICTURE FRAME, 1881-1906

Chased and patinated bronze

Signed H. Guimard and dated 1881-1906

30 x 36 cm.

This frame, probably unique, was a special order from the owners of the Raphael Carbonel perfume factory. The three photographs, which can be removed, are printed on copper, and are all signed by Paul Darby. The picture at the bottom is of the town of Vallauris, and the two portraits are most likely the ones of the owners of the company.
